Skill builder: Knitting German Short Rows
Skill builder: Knitting German Short Rows
German short rows are a commonly used technique to add shaping to a garment or create gorgeous curves with colorwork, but they can trip many knitters up. In this class, we’ll get comfortable with the German short-row technique and learn how to troubleshoot potential problems. We'll also discuss converting a pattern written for other types of short rows to use the German style. Students are encouraged to bring in WIPs or specific patterns to ask questions as well!
