Mosaic Knitting Clinic

Multiple dates and times fibre space, 22314

If you want to dive into the world of colorwork but don’t know where to start, then mosaic knitting is for you! In this class, you will learn how something as simple as slipping stitches can create beautiful designs. We’ll discuss reading a mosaic chart, fixing mistakes, reading your knitting, and a little color theory. Choose from four patterns ranging from adventurous beginner to advanced, and let’s play with color.

For each pattern, be sure to choose colors with high contrast. This will make learning the skill much easier! If you are unsure if your colors have enough contrast, take a photo of them together in black and white; if there is enough contrast, one will appear much darker. You can also stop by the shop, and someone will be able to help you choose your palette.

Two 2-hour sessions, meeting weekly on the same day
