Knitting Independent Study

Got a dream project you'd like to tackle? Nervous about trying a new technique or something big? Let’s do it together! This group class will allow students to bring in the project of their choice, whether it's a new cast on or something that's been languishing in the WIP pile. Work through questions or tricky sections with an instructor's guidance and your fellow knitters' encouragement. This class is taught by the amazing Alex, our store manager.

This class is not for total beginners or any student under the age of 16.

Instructor: Alex

2-hour sessions, Thursdays from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm or Sundays from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm. Grab just one or register for multiple!

Skills needed: advanced beginner or intermediate or advanced

• basic knit skills are required. 

Materials:

• Pattern submitted to the instructor prior to class
• Yarn in the quantity needed for your project (a yarnista can help you choose)
• Knitting needles appropriate for the project/yarn
• Stitch markers: for crochet, locking stitch markers only
• Scissors/snips, tapestry needle
